WHO WE ARE

The Sonntag Grant began on Sonntagstraße, Berlin, during a conversation about what it means to support artists today. The name Sonntag (Sunday) stuck – not just for the street, but for what Sunday represents: time outside of work, time to focus, reflect, or catch up. For many artists juggling other jobs, it’s the only day they can really work on their practice, or take part in something social, political, or creative.

This grant is our way of making a bit more space for that. It’s built to support underrepresented voices in photography, especially FLINTA artists, whose access to resources and recognition is too often limited.
